CSAR Scholarships
PLEASE NOTE:
- "Non-traditional student" is defined as an undergraduate who has had a cumulative or consecutive 5-year gap in their educational journey toward their first bachelor's degree. The gap can be before or during college.
- Our scholarships are only for US residents or students who meet the requirements of Utah Senate Bill 253. In short, the requirements of SB253 are that you attended a Utah high school for at least 3 years AND graduated from a Utah high school.
- International students are not eligible for our scholarships.
Samuel & Hermila Alba
The Samuel & Hermila Alba Endowed Scholarship Fund is established at the University of Utah as a way to provide educational assistance through scholarships to deserving undergraduate students.

- Purpose: To support undergraduate students who have a demonstrated commitment to the Latinx community
- Award: $2,500 per semester

U Alumni Completion
CSAR is the proud to partner with the Office of Alumni Relations to support students as they complete their undergraduate degree and graduate from the University of Utah. The donor appreciates candidates who demonstrate an interest in remaining engaged as alumni of the U.

Assistance League of Salt Lake City
CSAR is grateful to partner with the Assistance League of Salt Lake City to support students who have faced significant barriers or challenges to beginning or completing their undegraduate degree. This is a tuition-only, non-refundable award. This scholarship may be renewable each year, though awardees do have to re-apply.

Beta Gamma of Alpha Delta Pi
The Beta Gamma chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was created at the University of Utah to
enable students' experience in events, service, and leadership during their college
careers. The donor is invested in applicants who seek out opportunities for comradery and teamwork
with other
students, leadership experiences on campus, and participation in school traditions,
events, and
service projects.

Beatrice F. Kroesche Memorial
The Beatrice F. Kroesche Memorial Scholarship for undergraduate students was created to support single parents enrolled in certain degree programs with additional consideration for applicants with physical limitations, including but not limited to hearing and sight.

These scholarships are for undergraduate students who have been highly involved and are working to create a more vibrant community on campus through both service and community involvement. This scholarship is for students who have already been engaged in the campus community for at least one year.

Daniels Scholars Success Program (DSSP)

The Daniels Fund established the Daniels Scholar Success Program to support the success of each Daniels Scholar. The program includes more than 18 schools in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

- Purpose: DSSP seeks to achieve 4 goals: provide support for scholar success; create a sense of connectedness for Daniels Scholars to to the U, their peers, and to the Daniels Fund; provide scholars direct & regular access to support services and resources related to academics, community engagement, and career preparedness; and facilitate involvement with leadership opportunities on campus and with Daniels Fund staff.

Eni & Hina Faleomavaega Scholarship
Named for Eni Hunkin and Antonina Hinanui, The Eni & Hina Faleomavaega Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that promotes academic excellence through student scholarships, innovative programs, and it supports other organizations that preserve and perpetuate culture in the Pacific Islands.

The Miller Family understands that single-parent students may struggle to stay enrolled in school through graduation and most often cite caregiving responsibilities and limited financial resources as their reasons for leaving. This scholarship seeks to address this need.

The Larry H. and Gail Miller Enrichment Scholarship was established in 2002 thanks to the generous support of the Larry H. and Gail Miller Family Foundation. The Miller Enrichment Scholarship awards full tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, a textbook allowance, and in some cases, an experiential learning stipend. A primary goal of the program is to encourage and support student involvement on campus, including volunteer service, and leadership opportunities.

Utah NASA Space Grant Consortium

NASA initiated the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Project, also known as Space Grant, in 1989. Space Grant is a national network of colleges and universities. These institutions are working to expand opportunities for Americans to understand and participate in NASA’s aeronautics and space projects by supporting and enhancing science and engineering education, research and public outreach efforts.

- Purpose: Operation Success is a leadership development program focused on project creation. Fellows will receive mentorship and insight from community experts and leaders, and present their projects to stakeholders at the end of the year.

The Resolute Fund

CSAR is so grateful to an anonymous donor for making the $9,000 Resolute Fund Scholarship possible. This scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate student. Students majoring in Math (Statistics) or Engineering (Data Science) are eligible to apply. The donor's prefence is to award students majoring in the former, as well as those who do not have family financial support.
