Cohort Programming Assistant
We are looking for a graduate student who is passionate about supporting our two cohorts of first-generation scholars receiving the Utah Opportunity Scholarship and the Larry H. and Gail Miller Enrichment Scholarship. This position will be responsibile for supporting our Student Resource Navigators create and host engaging programs that include social gathering, academic skill-building workshops, and community service. The First-gen Programming Assistant will also help plan a welcome orientation for these cohorts, which will include an on-campus day (featuring sessions related to scholarship requirements and campus resources) and a 2-night outdoor experience. This orientation will occur August 13-16, 2025.
This is a part-time position that pays $20/hour. Please note that this is NOT a graduate assistantship and therefore does not offer a tuition benefit. Review requirements and apply here today.
Content Designer & Communications Assistant
We are looking for a creative undergraduate student who is passionate about creating clear and engaging messaging four CSAR's scholarships, programs, and events. This position will be responsible for designing posts and content for social media, campus flyers, monthly newsletters, and other tasks related to marketing and communications.
This is a part-time position that pays $13/hour for up to 19 hours per week. Students MUST be awarded Federal Work-Study for the 2025-2026 year to be eligible for this position. Review requirements and apply here today.
Peer Mentors
We are looking for two outgoing and engaging undergraduate students who are passionate about student success and supporting their peers. Peer Mentors will be responsible for supporting the students in the Larry H. and Gail Miller Enrichment and Utah Opporutnity scholarship cohort programs. Each will be responsible for checking in with students and assistant CSAR staff in planning and hosting educational and social programming for these scholars.
Preference will be given to upperclass students who are in these cohorts.
