Our Student Resource Navigators take a holistic view of your experience and support your success by connecting you with resources and opportunities, supporting you through your academic journey to prepare you for life within and beyond the campus community. 

Whether you are a prospective student exploring your opportunities at the U, a current CSAR scholar, or any U of U student, our SRN team is here to help you navigate higher education systems. If you are interested in connecting with one of our SRNs, you can email one of them directly, or reach out to our team here: studentresources@utah.edu.

 

Our scholarship portfolio supports our students with over $2 million in tuition assitance. Our  scholarships prioritize first-generation students, parenting & non-traditional students, STEM and healthcare-related majors, students with financial need, and students facing challenges related to alcoholism and incarceration.

 

 

We offer workshops and activities for our scholars and all students to learn important skills which support academic success, promote access to resources, and prepare for life post-graduation. You can expect to see workshops and activities related to

  • Student success (study hall hours, study skills)
  • Access to resources (scholarship application prepartion, FAFSA information, mental health resources)
  • Post-graduation preparation (professional development oppotunities)

 

Whether you need a place to eat lunch with a friend, study in peace, or host a meeting, we are here for you! Our student lounge is open every weekday from 8 am to 5 pm and offers:

  • Shared computer workstation & printer
  • Microwave
  • Resources, including Plan B, PPDS, and a lending library

You can also reach out to reserve our group room for private meetings, student group meetings, or other events.
